Your role at Clorox:

Pay Range: $25.78 to $34.44

Shift Group B: 12 hours Shifts (Week 1: Th - Sat 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM/ Week 2: Wed - Sat 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM)

The primary function of the Engineering and Maintenance Department is to provide system maintenance support to the production operations. The function of this position is to support the production and facility operations in the areas of preventative, corrective, and project/special maintenance. An individual assigned to this role is expected to perform duties with some supervision and direction as assigned by the Maintenance Team Lead to support operations.

This position is considered a safety-sensitive position, meaning, a lapse of attention could adversely affect the safety of others by resulting in injury, illness, or death, including without limitation a position that includes the operating, repairing, maintaining, or monitoring of heavy equipment, machinery, or operation motorized vehicle.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform Preventative Maintenance Activities on Production, Basic Troubleshooting, and Repairing of all Production and Process Equipment. Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Electrical. Capable of learning PLC programming/troubleshooting, VFD programming/troubleshooting

  • Generate work orders and research parts.

  • Basic Shop Fabrication - Welding/Machining and basic hand tools

  • Rebuild Spare Equipment

  • Complete P.M.’s and Work Orders

  • Support production lines as needed.

  • Must have a Technical Background

  • Must be able to be Self-directed

  • Support of GME principles, programs, and objectives.

  • Organizational skills: ability to develop a work plan and execute against it.

  • Basic Analytical/Troubleshooting

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Adhere to all GMP requirements

  • Knowledgeable in basic mechanical systems

  • Flexibility in schedule and work assignments

  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service

  • Demonstrated safety concern for yourself and others

  • Be able to lift 50 pounds consistently.

  • Must pass a pre-employment background check, and physical and drug test.

  • Basic computer knowledge including MS Office, Email

Eligibility Criteria (Internal Candidates Only):

  • Must be in “good standing” with the company, any written warning or above are not eligible to apply.

  • Minimum of twelve (12) months in your current department and have a minimum of six (6) months in your current position after skill block is sign-off. If not signed off within the department the twelv e (12) months criteria is the only criteria that must be met.

  • Shift Transfers must meet twelve (12) months in the department and shift. Some exceptions will be made based on the needs of the business.
