Position Summary
Tactical Air is currently seeking an Ground Support Equipment / Facilities Technician to join our Maintenance team. This position will support Tactical Air's fleet of fighter aircraft with over 75 years of combined experience in tactical aviation maintenance and more than 30 years of military adversary contract maintenance. The Maintenance staff are a dedicated team comprised of experienced, A&P- certified, and tactical aircraft mechanics, technicians, and logisticians who all work towards ensuring safe and seamless ground maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate for the Ground Support Equipment / Facilities Technician position will be professional, highly productive, disciplined, team-oriented, technically astute, and responsive to the needs of the company, colleagues, and customers. This position will report to the Senior Site Maintenance Manager and will perform daily and periodic maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, modification, and troubleshooting on all assigned equipment, assist the facilities manager with repairs, and perform other duties as assigned. This position will apply technical knowledge to solve complex problems and to provide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction to other teammates as needed. Must be willing to maintain program responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
High School diploma/GED with at least 1 year of applicable work.
Work experience with maintenance, inspections, operational tests, repairs, modifications, and troubleshooting of equipment.
Ability to read, research, and understand technical manuals.
Valid state driver's license.
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.
Desired Experience/Skills
S.E. Certification (Support Equipment)
Current work experience in equipment or building maintenance occupational field, preferably in the military or with a government aviation maintenance contractor.
Experience with aviation ground support equipment.
Support Equipment Operator experience (Tow Tractor, N2 Servicing Trailer, and Mobile Start Unit).
Physical Demands
