Description We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team in the Government industry, located in Reno, Nevada. As an Accounting Clerk, your role will be to manage customer applications, maintain customer records accurately, and handle customer inquiries. This role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking the necessary actions. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain up-to-date and precise customer credit records

• Handle scanning tasks related to account management

• Perform data entry tasks related to customer accounts

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary. Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in Scanning is required

• Knowledge and experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is essential

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is needed

• A background in the Government sector is preferred

• Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail are mandatory

• Excellent organizational and time management skills are crucial

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Must possess a high level of integrity and dependability

• Familiarity with government accounting standards and procedures is a plus

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
