The Travel Solutions organization is looking to hire an Account Director to work with strategic travel agency customers. This position is part of the North American Premier Account Team and can be home-based in Canada or the United States. The Account Director will focus on strengthening strategic relationships and generating new business opportunities by connecting the customer’s business objectives with Sabre’s solutions and strategies.
Role and Responsibilities:
Represent Sabre and develop strong and long-term client relationships with existing agency customers
Ensure regular and comprehensive customer communication on strategic topics and industry happenings
Model contractual financial scenarios and negotiate contracts to drive win-win outcomes
Match product solutions with customer needs in order to drive new revenue and increase our footprint with customers
Guide cross-functional teams to ensure customer success with product implementations and migrations
Maintain current industry/market knowledge and provide relevant insights
Create and lead presentations to internal and external teams
Must be able to travel 25% within North American to attend events, meet face to face with customers
Must Have Skills:
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
5+ years of experience in similar strategic account management role or relevant experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong executive presence
Negotiating expertise with ability to influence and drive win-win outcomes
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with an overall strong comfort discussing financial outcomes and scenarios
Ability to learn and understand technology solutions, then apply knowledge in ways that help customers resolve pain points and achieve their business objectives
Excellent general business acumen with strengths in accountability and rigor
Ability to work well with internal and external partners
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Nice To Have Skills:
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platform
Knowledge of the travel industry
