SAIC Drupal Web Content Specialist in REMOTE WORK, Virginia

Description

SAIC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Drupal Web Content Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for promptly responding to content update requests and service tickets through ServiceNow and ADO, updating and managing content on Drupal websites, and ensuring that all content adheres to Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with federal staff, mission office stakeholders, contractors, and grantees, demonstrating strong communication skills and professionalism. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ticket Management (ServiceNow): Receive and promptly respond to service tickets via ServiceNow, ensuring all tickets are handled within established service level agreements (SLAs)

  • Content Updates (Drupal): Update and manage content on Drupal websites, including working with nodes, blocks, layouts, and Drupal taxonomy.

  • Projects and Content Migrations: Complete work on ADO stories related to new site launches, content migrations, or other projects as assigned.

  • Accessibility Compliance: Ensure that all web content, including tables, documents, and multimedia, complies with Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards.

  • Professional Communication: Interface professionally and regularly with federal staff, mission office stakeholders, contractors, and grantees to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure content accuracy, consistency, and quality across the web platforms.

  • Responsive: Respond promptly to inquiries on company messaging platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Cisco Jabber.

Qualifications

Required:

  • BS and 5 years of related experience (4 years experience in lieu of degree)

  • Basic familiarity with Drupal CMS, including content management, nodes, taxonomy, blocks, and layouts.

  • Experience with ServiceNow, Azure DevOps (ADO), or similar ticketing systems is a plus.

  • Understanding of Section 508 and WCAG standards for web accessibility.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor in working with diverse stakeholders.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.

Desired:

  • Previous experience in content management or a related role.

  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for basic content formatting.

  • Experience in a federal or government contracting environment is a plus.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
