SAIC is seeking a PeopleSoft Developer (Global Payroll SME) in support of the United States Coast Guard. This role is 100% remote and will require up to 10% travel.

The PeopleSoft Developer (Global Payroll SME) will play a crucial role in working with the team to design, develop, and optimize PeopleSoft applications, ensuring seamless integration with customer systems.

Job Duties:

• Work with a team of developers to design, develop, improve, implement, and maintain PeopleSoft applications, leveraging extensive expertise in PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, and other development tools.

• Leverage Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills to create efficient database queries, stored procedures, and triggers.

• Customize PeopleSoft applications to align with specific organizational requirements, incorporating Oracle best practices.

• Develop solutions leveraging global payroll configuration to meet requirements for earnings, deductions, and pay processing rules

• Work with team members and end users to analyze, troubleshoot, and explain global payroll and payroll processing functionality when needed

• Demonstrate solutions to end users and project sponsors

• Conduct thorough unit testing and support system and user acceptance testing, addressing and resolving issues promptly.

• Manage data migration processes, ensuring accurate and seamless transfer of data between PeopleSoft applications and Oracle databases.

Qualifications

Required Education ad Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and ten (10) years or more of related experience.

  • Security+ Certificate.

  • Extensive experience implementing global payroll in a complex ERP environment with heavy volume and disparate payee populations and extensive knowledge of delivered Global Payroll Capabilities

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a secret security clearance.

Preferred Key Skills/Certifications:

Understanding of United States Coast Guard or Navy personnel processes, payroll processing, and payroll requirements set forth in DOD FM Regulations

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
