What's the job?
*The majority of the work will take place in Southern, CA-*
The Technical Services & Sales Representative will provide a full range of field technical support to their assigned region to result in a better customer understanding and use of our products, reduce liability, build closer customer relations, and a reinforcing of the “expert” image in the market. This role will work closely with the sales team in identifying opportunities for business and customer growth through improved field use of CBI portfolio of products and systems and will leverage the field technical role for sales opportunity identification. This position will coordinate with the sales team to implement growth strategies and will work with Marketing and R&D on various development projects, national training programs and assist in managing our applicator network and other initiatives.
Field Training & Application
Develop expertise in microtrenching, bridge deck protection and aligned applications
Deliver product application training and project specific training, including product trials for individual projects
Support and help implement the applicator network
Support sales and contractors on application issues
Support contractors on project assessments, job estimates and product quantities needed
Conduct research with customers, clients and applicators to determine needs and desires

Conduct solutions-based selling which results in revenue generation
Cross-leverage CBI’s portfolio
What do you bring?
At least 2-4 Years of experience in applications
Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: field trials during product development, introduction of new products, troubleshooting field problems, and technical support activities.
Strong ability to communicate technical information effectively to contractors, sales teams, and customers
Well organized with concern for details, accuracy and capable to following instructions, meet schedules/timelines and handle multiple priorities. Proven ability to work independently.
Ability to travel up to 85%. Day & Overnight Travel in the U.S. & Canada. Company vehicle is provided.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position, which is 87,500 to $154,800 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 20% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $105,00 to $185,760. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.-
