Job Description

LRS Consulting Services is seeking a ServiceNow Product Owner for a remote, contract-to-hire opportunity with our client in downtown Chicago, IL!

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear requirements and user stories.

  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, user impact, and strategic objectives.

  • Maintain a prioritized backlog of tasks, user stories, and features, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Work closely with the development team to refine user stories, clarify requirements, and provide guidance throughout the development process.

  • Lead sprint planning, review meetings, and daily stand-ups to ensure the successful execution of sprint goals.

  • Conduct user testing and validation to ensure that developed features meet the specified requirements and quality standards.

  • Coordinate the release of new features, updates, and bug fixes in collaboration with release management and other stakeholders.

  • Provide ongoing support, training, and documentation to facilitate the adoption and use of the ServiceNow platform by end users.

  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, product enhancement, and innovation to drive the success of the ServiceNow platform within the organization.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, or equivalent role, with a focus on ServiceNow platform.

  • Strong subject matter expertise in ServiceNow, with ability to lead strategic growth and best practices in the platform.

  • Demonstrated experience implementing multiple modules in ServiceNow.

  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices.

  • Experience managing software development projects and development teams.

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, with ability to lead sprint planning, review meetings & daily stand-ups, as well as refine user stories.

  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

  • Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer

Colorado Pay Range:

20 - 125/per Hour
