Key Job Responsibilities

  • Administer the creation of third party social media content, as well as track, monitor and listen for effectiveness for the IR business line, with the end goal to assist with cultivating sales relationships and conversations

  • Write and edit social media copy that demonstrates correct voice, subject-matter expertise and best practices

  • Adhere to compliance and advertising guidelines to satisfy FINRA and organizational standards

  • Manage regulatory risk and compliance via policy and WSPs.

  • Maintain campaign calendar for non-equitable branded content; work closely with Marketing, Sales and Distribution teams to develop ideas for content

  • Collaborate with marketing team to assess social media needs and opportunities for improvement and growth

  • Develop monthly metrics reporting and optimization working in conjunction with marketing

  • Execute onboarding, training and user adoption program

  • Train on LinkedIn best practices for prospecting and engagement

The base salary range for this position is $68,000 - $ 102,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of annuity or financial planning experience

  • Bachelor Degree

  • Self-starting with ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a demanding environment

  • Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills to all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Series 6, 63 & 26 (preferred or willing to obtain within 180 days of hiring)

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

Market Research: Knowledge of market research; ability to collect, collate and analyze information about existing or potential markets and market needs.
