Reporting directly to the VP of Infrastructure, the AVP will own and lead the strategic vision and oversight for the technology infrastructure architecture to include servers, databases, network and operations. You will build successful partnerships with cross-functional departments, stakeholders and leaders to accomplish mutual business objectives through effective and practical use of technology. In addition, you will provide leadership and technical competency necessary to build, develop and maintain an effective infrastructure team.

In this role, you will:

• Build, implement, manage, and support the CareCentrix technology infrastructure strategy including computers, storage, databases, and cloud operations for technology platforms and compliance (Linux, Oracle, SQL, Windows, AWS, Azure).

• Collaborate with senior leadership to translate new opportunities into an actionable roadmap, track progress, and deliver new product capabilities on time and on budget.

• Lead the technical design to modernize and refresh end-of-life technology such as operating system and database upgrades, cloud migrations, and re-platforming legacy systems.

• Provide infrastructure services vision, enable innovation, and seek to leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with the company's requirements and expectations.

• Function as the Infrastructure solutions project leader to prioritize and manage project deadlines, navigate simultaneous projects and other cross-functional team demands, and ensure timely and effective execution and delivery of projects and related deliverables

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, including but not limited to compliance and operational risk.

• Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and support of all technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems.

• Analyze processes, issues, and bottlenecks and make recommendations for improvements.

• Partner with the core operations and automation teams to meet deadlines set by leadership, resolve infrastructure issues, and automate overly manual processes.

• Direct and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative culture and continuous improvement mindset.

• Oversee all phases of project execution including initiation, planning/development, production/execution, monitors/controls, and closing/post-release activities for larger projects.

• Drive accountability and metrics ownership, while effectively communicating information to the organization

• Successfully manage the completion of major capital investment projects, with compelling business cases and find ways to improve the company's bottom line.

This is the role for you if:

• You are a hands-on IT leader with extensive Infrastructure technical experience and have progressively moved through the ranks of IT.

• Your background includes a combination of On-Prem and cloud experience.

• You are the champion of continuous improvement of IT infrastructure processes and technology, promoting standardization and compliance, whilst ensuring robust security.

• You have Healthcare Industry experience.

You should get in touch if:

• You have a bachelor’s degree, with an MBA or related master’s degree preferred.

• You have a minimum of 10 years of IT Infrastructure experience with a minimum of 5 years of progressive strategy and management experience.

• You have experience in data center operations including the implementation and support of private and hybrid public cloud computing environments

• You have experience building, scaling & and monitoring infrastructure for a distributed organization.

• You have proven experience in managing IT infrastructure operations, and technology management, preferably in a leadership role.

• You have knowledge of networking, computing, storage, IaaS, PaaS solutions, cloud operations, system administration, and service desk.

• You have a deep understanding of On-Prem & and cloud security concepts, including Firewalls, VPCs, Encryption, Authentication, and Authorization (SSO, Active Directory/LDAP, etc.)

• You have experience in completing major capital investment projects, managing technology vendors, recruiting and building high-performing teams
