Job Purpose Summary
- We are seeking a Director, National Accounts with an entrepreneurial spirit who excels in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment to join our team.The Director, National Accounts is responsible for acting as the primary sales contact between the company and national account customers, including GPO’s, Large Ophthalmic Groups and IDN’s.
What you will do
Drive leadership, management and execution of strategic partnerships with national accounts, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO’s), national Ophthalmic group practices, and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN’s).
Prepare and maintain an annual working sales plan, including analysis and forecasting that reflects activities/efforts necessary to achieve company goals and quotas.
Work with leadership team and field sales team to expand share of wallet in national account customers.
Develop and implement creative and aggressive sales programs and strategies; support Corza promotional activities and drive associated action with the field sales team.
Attract and maintain a diverse talent pool of potential salespeople; take proper action if/when personnel performance/HR issues arise.
Continually gathers information on the competitive landscape, prevalent industry trends, and business climate within the territory and shares it with the company.
Lead and participate in team sales meetings.
Attend trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings as needed.
Understand and comply with applicable customer policies, HIPAA, and vendor requirements.
Develop key relationships with external customers to exceed sales objectives and to identify emerging needs and business challenges.
Monitor competitive activity to ensure that Corza is abreast of competitive and new developments in the marketplace and remains in the forefront of the industry.
Provide a basis for development of new products and product improvements through field market research, monitoring and providing competitive intel, and supporting new products evaluations.
Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
What you will need
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
A minimum of five years sales management experience in Ophthalmology or related field.
Proficient with CRM platform (Salesforce.com).
Highly organized and has very effective time management skills.
Highly customer focused.
Excellent selling and presentation skills.
Proven track record of top sales performance, sales awards.
Strong negotiating skills and capacity.
Must be able to analyze financial information.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including strong listening skills.
Working knowledge of Windows, MS Office, PowerPoint as well as networks and internet applications.
25%-50% travel domestically within territory (depending on candidate’s location within region).

A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this role is $200,000 - $235,000. Further, pay that is offered is based on geographic location, internal equity, market data, applicant’s job-related skills, commensurate experience, required licensures, certifications and certain degrees.”
