SwipeTrack Solutions Full Stack PHP Developer in Remote, Texas

About the PHP Web Software Developer position

SwipeTrack Solutions is looking for a full-stack PHP developer, proficient in all stages of web development, from conception to deployment. Must be comfortable with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript with good time management and organizational skills.

You should be able to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design.

Software Engineer responsibilities are:

  • Design and develop web applications for bare-metal utilizing the LAMP stack

  • Evaluate and improve existing applications' designs and UX (user-experience)

  • Conduct testing of applications and websites in a variety of browsers and devices

  • Troubleshoot and resolve design and functionality issues

  • Maintain the performance of dynamic, data-driven web and mobile applications

  • Collaborate with end-users and other developers

  • Prepare technical documentation for end-users

  • Create designs that are easy and intuitive to use

    Experience Required:

  • 4+ years HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery

  • 3+ years PHP Programming

  • 2+ years Web Application UI/UX design

  • 2+ years Bootstrap

  • 2+ years mySQL or other relational databases

    Software Engineer requirements are:

  • Strong understanding of JSON, AJAX and SOAP/REST

  • Strong understanding of responsive/mobile design and development

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical co-workers

  • Ability to work with and integrate third-party APIs

  • Self-motivated and able to keep on task with little or no management

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Artistic eye for design and the ability to think creatively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to work well with a team

  • Must be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design

  • Ability to work well with ambiguity or when requirements are still in flux

  • Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship
