Job Description

Position Overview

Account management for strategic customers through customer service, account maintenance, sales, program upgrades and scheduling.

Responsibilities

Provides account management to assigned national, large regional, and/or complex accounts through phone, email, and other communication methods. Responsible for revenue growth of assigned book of business including, partnership expansion, upsell, and retention. Maintains customer database through accurate and timely data entry of sales, account maintenance, payments and adjustments as needed. Creates, updates, and/or responds to work and purchase orders for clients through their preferred interface (portals, spreadsheets, etc.). Updates internal databases to schedule and track services to assigned clients. Communicates with branches on upcoming work and special instruction regarding the account. Balances internal sales and production databases daily. Presents and discusses material related to cancels and revenue with General Managers via phone or email as needed. Send weekly revenue roll up reports to internal customers for review. Reaches out to clients and General Managers to approve purchase and work orders. Helps resolve any accounts receivable issues and open purchase orders. Researches root cause of issues and works with branches to correct. Follow-up via weekly email to TruGreen GM’s and Service Managers on non-scheduled and/or not completed applications. Helps to identify streamlined billing and processing, approach as needed. Ability to occasionally travel, work nights and weekends as client needs might dictate.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Associate degree preferred, or combination of work experience

  • Experience resolving escalated customer service issues required

  • Sales experience

  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Agronomic experience preferred

This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
