Atlas Senior Project Manager in Remote, Tennessee

Position : Senior Project Manager

Location : Remote, TN

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Tennessee team! Come join us!

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Senior Project Manager TDEC LUST Contract work

  • Project Manage high priority sites

  • Oversee all program sites and Liaison with the State.

Minimum requirements:

  • B.S. degree in geology, civil/environmental engineering, with Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) credential. TN Credentials preferred but if not current, must be able to obtain within 3 months.

  • Must have 10 years of professional experience including at least 5 years of Remediation experience with a State Underground Storage Tank Remediation Contract.

  • Must be willing to locate to or travel to as needed the Memphis and West TN area

  • Microsoft PC applications; WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint;

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; Excellent Task Management Skills

  • Preferred 40-Hour Hazwoper;

  • Strong technical, analytical, and research skills;If applicable, list years of experience with specific tasks. i.e. project management, business development, wetland delineations, etc.

Technical requirements:

  • Must have worked in a State reimbursement program (TN Preferred)

  • Must be able to manage staff and manage multiple ongoing projects

  • Must be able to track budgets and deadlines

  • Experience with implementing and overseeing soil, groundwater and air sampling;

  • Experienced at O&M of Corrective Action Systems and varying injection remediation techniques

  • Ability to design field sampling programs, manage multiple subcontractors, as well as, interpret geological, hydrogeological, and chemical data from petroleum contaminated sites.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Federal, State and local environmental assessment and remediation regulations and requirements. Ability to master TN RGD002 and all TN TGD (Technical Guidance Documents)

  • Management and analysis of sampling data, including summary tables, result interpretation, and sample location maps. Preparation of assessment reports, groundwater monitoring reports, Conceptual Site Models, Risk Assessment Reports, and Risk Management Plans.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of vapor intrusion investigations at facilities and understanding current and emerging vapor intrusion practices.

Other miscellaneous qualities:

  • Willingness to travel regionally for short periods of time.

  • Valid Driver’s License.

  • Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines for planning and executing work in a safe manner

  • Excellent Time Management Skills

  • Excellent technical writing, presentation and negotiating skills.
