Major Tom Senior Account Strategist in Remote, Ontario

Who We're Looking For:

We are hiring a Senior Account Strategist with a minimum of five years of professional experience in managing client relationships and developing digital strategies, supported by a strong background in digital media expertise.

The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking, proactive problem-solver with the ability to seamlessly transition from big-picture strategy to detailed execution. You thrive on strategic thinking and possess the drive and expertise to bring those visions to life.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years in a digital marketing agency or in-house digital marketing role, with experience leading digital strategy for clients as the main point of contact and decision-maker.

  • Media Expertise: In-platform experience, managing campaigns across Google, Meta and additional platforms, with proficiency in Google Analytics.

  • Vendor Relations: Experience in media planning and buying, with a proven ability to foster strong relationships and effectively communicate with external vendors.

  • Client Relationship Management: Ability to build and nurture client relationships, ensuring long-term client retention.

  • Account Growth: Identify growth opportunities within accounts, crafting strategies to offer new products/services that drive success and increase sales.

  • Account Strategy: Collaborate with internal teams to provide strategic recommendations and presentations that drive successful client outcomes.

  • Communication: Strong presentation skills, confidently delivering insights and updates in meetings, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.

  • Research & Reporting: Conduct targeted research to meet client needs, while analyzing performance metrics to identify trends and deliver insightful, data-driven reports.

What We're Looking For:

  • eCommerce experience

  • Experience with email marketing campaigns and/or marketing automation

  • In-depth knowledge of search engine optimization best practices

  • Collaborate with Major Tom agency partners to plan and execute client campaigns.

  • Proactively provide strategic campaign recommendations to drive client success.

  • Regularly update and analyze client reports, delivering key insights and optimizations.

  • Oversee internal teams to ensure timely deliverables and achievement of client goals.

Compensation: $80,000 - $83,000 + benefits

Location: Canada

We are open to applicants across Canada. We currently have team members in British Columbia, Ontario, Manitoba and Alberta. Our Vancouver team has the option to work from home or the office.
