Role Summary/Purpose
Pharmaceutical Diagnostics Product Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting sales of complex technical products, solutions and services. Specializing in Contrast Media and Radiopharmaceutical products and carries a quota. Acts as a clinical/technical expert to establish and continuously develop relationships with departmental and technical decision makers, and where applicable, works in conjunction with Account Executives and medical devices product sales specialists to gain access to C-Suite decision makers to secure long term strategic agreements.
Essential Responsibilities
· Maximize sales, margin, market share along with customer satisfaction for contrast media and radiopharmaceuticals in assigned territory
· Identify, develop and close new sales opportunities
· Achieve territory revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per account and optimize product mix
· Build strong business relationships, formulate account strategies to continuously strengthen relationships with assigned accounts and their technical and clinical decision makers
· Organize on site product demonstrations
· Prepare and co-ordinate tender responses and negotiate contract pricing
· Track market dynamics and provide accurate performance forecasting
· Communicate market information effectively to/from the field including competitive activities.
· Communicate effectively with members of the broader sales, marketing and supporting functions to maximize business potential
· Generate, records and maintain customer profiles in SFDC
· Ensure compliance with Company policies and quality processes
Qualifications/Requirements
· Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences or related field
· 3-5 years of pharmaceutical or medical devices sales experience.
· Possess strong negotiating skills
· Strong communication & interpersonal skills
· Strong presentation and influencing skills
· Ability to navigate the complex healthcare environment
This is a remote based role – preferred location is Greater Toronto Area residence. You will travel 50% of the time and will be supplied a company vehicle. Territory coverage includes part of the province of Ontario and all of New Brunswick. Desired Characteristics
· Experience in supply contract negotiations and distributor management
· Combined pharmaceutical or medical devices sales or marketing experience
· Technologist training, such as MRT(N) or MRT(R) and clinical experience
· MBA is an asset
