Product Manager, Geospatial
Location: This position can be remote from a home-office, hybrid, or from our office in Quebec City.
Position Summary:
Bentley Systems is seeking a talented individual to become a valued member of our team as a Product Manager for our MicroStation, Map and Descartes product lines. A Product Manager who will be responsible for the development and implementation of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Your primary responsibility will be to execute Bentley’s MicroStation geospatially aware CAD strategy and in driving adoption of geospatial features.
The ideal candidate has previous experience working with MicroStation as well as GIS knowledge. You are adept at working with both technical and non-technical personas to build and manage relations, collect feedback and synthesize meaningful insights from those engagements.
Your Day-to-Day:
Follow existing processes for the product lifecycle phases within scope and autonomy.
Identify and drive resolution of common roadblocks and difficulties.
Work with UX and Development teams.
Create clear stories and functional specifications.
Manage the product backlog.
Define, monitor, and analyze product metrics.
Present to internal and external parties.
What You Bring to The Team:
1-3 years of experience in Product Management or related field
Strongly competent in product planning and releasing.
Solid understanding of the product charter and product specifications.
Driven by results and metrics.
Good understanding of the industry in which the product operates.
Proven track record of proactively identifying and mitigating obstacles to accelerate time to market.
Experience working with Agile methodologies.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any otherphysical requirements (https://www.bls.gov/ors/factsheet/visual-overview-of-physical-demands.htm) ).
