Job Summary
The Sourcing Director is responsible for partnering with the regional and field operations teams, in addition to providing leadership, guidance and support to regional sourcing team members towards the goal of driving goods/services timely fulfillment and cost competitiveness. Guides the regional sourcing team in activities including supplier negotiations, sourcing playbook strategies development, Purchase Order fulfillment administration in alignment with outage procurement plans. Manages regional implementation of commodity strategies given a global approach and alignment to established global standards, processes, practices, and tools. Provides regional sourcing insights and support to Operations Directors, Service Directors and Resource Directors (key stakeholders) including presentment of recommendations of strategic preferred supplier panels/partnerships, while managing key performance indicators (cost-out/savings, cash improvement) and performance health metrics (end-to-end purchasing transactions and order/PO administration – including but not limited to Open POs, Requester Goods Receipt due diligence and Goods Receipt not invoiced (GRNI) supplier follow up, etc.)) and in the timely resolution of accounts payable holds, and remediation of supplier assigned NCRs, or other supplier relationships actions deemed appropriate to benefit FieldCore.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead regional sourcing activities and initiatives in accordance with global sourcing processes, guidelines, and practices
Lead, develop, and coach a team of Buyers, Purchasing Agents, and Commodity Managers
Serve as the regional sourcing strategic point of contact by partnering with regional general managers in operations, productivity, EHS, Finance, and Quality
Manage the long-term business relationships with suppliers, demonstrating sound principles of cultivating broad knowledge of supplier’s capabilities and performance history to drive successful business decisions and outcomes
Own the development and execution of the regional suppliers sourcing strategies and sourcing playbook
Identify and define best-in-class regional supply base, when deploying sourcing strategies and lead and/or manage major regional supplier negotiations with key suppliers
Advise and support regional sourcing team in the timely sourcing, fulfillment and implementation of quality goods/services supplier engagement strategies which deliver cost savings, cash benefit, innovation, and continuous improvement
Deploy sound sourcing practices, including but not limited to: should cost analysis, clean-sheeting, make-vs-buy, market/industry analysis, cost driver assessments, linear pricing, EOQ, experience curve, Kraljic matrix assessments and supports supply chain risk mitigation efforts (both financial/commercial, quality, safety and supply chain continuity)
Participate in cross functional regional team initiatives towards supplier performance optimization, including managing accountabilities given regional supplier contractual obligations (i.e., partners cross-functionally with Regional Operations, Productivity, Resource Operations, Quality, EHS, Finance, etc.)
Engage and collaborate with other cross-regional Sourcing team colleagues given defined global initiatives and/or sharing of best practices
Leverage Sourcing expertise to provide inputs in the formulation of tools and processes supporting robust analytics
Lead the development of regional external market assessments, and evaluate savings initiatives of regional sourcing team based upon sound cost validations on competitiveness given total costs of ownership and/or cash benefit valuations
Accountable for the realization of established annualized KPI (savings targets, cash benefits, or other as defined) and Performance Health metrics.
Travel required

Required Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or similar related area
11+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, and/or supply chain skills across multiple categories/commodities
6+ years of management experience in building and retaining a cohesive collaborating and high performing team
5+ years of experience in commodity category sourcing strategies and best practices (i.e., clean-sheeting, should-cost and supplier market assessments, supplier relationship management, supplier optimization, etc.)
Experience in LEAN principles and/or Six Sigma continuous improvement
Thorough knowledge of sourcing end-to-end systems, practices, processes, and tools, including understanding of supplier quality management and supplier compliance
English proficiency required
