Quality Bicycle Products Business Intelligence Manager in Remote, Minnesota
Description
The ideal candidate should be in the Twin Cities Metro area with the ability to work onsite as needed at the Bloomington Q-Central office. Remote work may be an option for candidates in Pennsylvania, Colorado, Nevada, and outside the Twin Cities Metro area in Minnesota. Please note, relocation assistance is not provided.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
The Business Intelligence (BI) Manager is a key leadership role responsible for managing and optimizing the organization’s BI platform. This individual leads a team, provides production support, drives new development initiatives, and ensures technical excellence across the BI landscape. This role requires a candidate who is adaptable, open to exploring new technologies and possesses a blend of knowledge in Power BI and AWS. In addition, this role requires a candidate with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with key stakeholders, including senior management and daily operational teams.
Technical ownership * [35%]
Oversee the entire BI toolset including PowerBI, ETL, and data warehouse technologies.
Drive best practices in software development life cycle (SDLC) for BI projects. Serve as Scrum Master for the team.
Ensure timely resolution of technical issues related to BI tools.
Responsible for data warehouse capabilities, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and transformation of data.
Oversee Production Support for a team responsible for* [20%]
Managing and resolving BI-related issues, ensuring smooth operations and minimal disruptions.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address data quality, performance, and availability concerns.
Ensuring data pipelines, ETL processes, and reporting systems are properly monitored to maintain high reliability.
Convey system issues to stakeholders in clear, concise language
New Development* [20%]
Provide leadership for the design, development, and implementation of new BI solutions.
Provide leadership for requirements development activities with stakeholders
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative approaches to enhance BI capabilities.
Flexibility and Adaptability* [10%]

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience in the field will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Demonstratable experience in leading and/or managing a team.
Proficiency in Power BI
Provide direction and mentorship to team members and other QBP stakeholders who are responsible for creating and maintaining interactive dashboards, reports and visualizations;
ensure data models and queries are optimized for performance.
10 years combined SQL, database design, Business Intelligence/ETL platform tools.
5-7 years practical experience in ERP technologies, SAP preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Certification in Power BI or AWS
Advanced degrees associated with Data Intelligence, Data Science or Business
Familiarity with AWS
Working knowledge of AWS services (Redshift, S3, Glue) for data storage, processing, and analytics.
