Job Description
Team Overview
The Market Research Operations team supports the qualitative and quantitative market research function at Norstella. The group ensures the derivation of valuable and actionable insights and strategies via data analysis to facilitate the delivery of the highest quality deliverables to pharmaceutical manufacturers and healthcare clients.
Position Description
As the Sr. Director/Vice President of Market Research Operations, you will lead and execute day-to-day operations of Norstella’s market research and advisory services. The position is responsible for setting up operational teams, ensuring productivity and efficiency, preparing and executing business plans and presenting performance reports to executive leadership.
Lead the market research operations team, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of market research projects.
Partner with market research leaders in market access and strategic intelligence business units to drive productivity and efficiency.
Design, develop, and execute department plans to drive operational efficiencies and function at scale.
Oversee local budgets, resource mobilization, overall performance, and prepare monthly reports for executive leadership.
Establish strong processes and automation to increase the efficiency and quality of deliverables.
Guide operational teams on the design and conduct of market research projects and products.
Ensures analytical insights meet strategic implications, nurtures junior team members to achieve the necessary depth and breadth of insights.
Establish a culture of high-performance, feedback and accountability.
Requirements
Advanced degree (Masters, PhD) with a life science or business administration focus.
10-15 years of successful experience leading market research operations.
Expertise in cultivating high-performing and efficient operation teams.
Well-versed in US life sciences industry and landscape.
Demonstrated success in identifying the needs of cross-functional stakeholders and executing successful business plans
Knowledgeable in qualitative and quantitative market research methodologies.
Ability to plan and execute business plans and run delivery at scale
Excellent communication skills, and ability to lead, motivate, and cross-collaborate.
