Cornerstone onDemand Software Engineer in Remote, India
In this role you will...
Develop,maintain and enhance .NET applications and services to contribute to our legacyand cloud platform.
Triagecustomer product and technical issues/defects and provide timely resolution.
Lookfor opportunities to provide root cause fix and stop issues from re-occurring.
Focuson ‘first time right’ approach.
Partnerwith fellow engineers, product managers, and other team members as appropriate.
Developand maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of products.
Adoptbest development practices.
Participatein architectural decisions and design considerations
Collaboratewith global Engineering, Product and Release teams, as necessary.
Troubleshootcomplex production issues and provide detailed RCA.
You’ve Got What It Takes If You Have…
Bachelor’sor master’s degree in computer science or related field.
3-5 years of experience with active hands-on developmentexperience in object-oriented languages like, C#, Java or others.
Strongexperience developing Microservices, RESTful services or other SOA developmentexperience is a plus.
Exposureto ORM’s like Entity Framework, Nhibernate or similar.
StrongTDD approach and hands-on experience on tools like Nunit, xUnit or any othertesting tools or frameworks.
Strongin OOP and SOLID design principles.
Exposureto modern java script frameworks like React is a plus.
Understandbasic AWS core services and basic architecture best practices.
Experiencein working on projects with public cloud providers like Amazon Web Services,Azure, Google Cloud, etc is a
plus.
Shouldbe able to optimize designs/queries for scale.
Proficientexperience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server/Postgres.Exposure to other non-relational
DBs like MongoDB is a plus!
Hands-onexperience with github, bitbucket, etc.
Shouldhave work experience in Agile SCRUM or KANBAN.
Shouldbe very good at analyzing and Debugging/Troubleshooting functional andtechnical issues.
Shouldhave good insight on Performance/Optimization techniques.
Goodunderstanding on secure development practices and proactively codes to avoidsecurity issues. Able to resolve all findings.
Excellentanalytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities
Conversantin algorithms, software design patterns, and their best usage.
Self-motivated,requiring minimal oversight.
Goodteam player with the ability to handle multiple concurrent priorities in afast-paced environment.
Stronginterpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Passionfor continuous process and technology improvement
