Job description
In this role, you work with internal and external developers responsible for the development and subsequent support of the various platform services components underpinning all the customer-facing applications across Norstella. As part of a large technology group, you work with product management, architecture, and other software engineering teams to support the product development roadmap.
We are looking for an experienced individual with excellent communication skills, deep experience in software engineering, and, most importantly, the ability and willingness to keep learning in this ever-changing technology landscape.
Responsibilities
Build end‐to‐end testing toolchains for our products' functional, non-functional, performance, usability, and security testing.
Ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications, including iOS platforms. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software products.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the QA team.
Stay current with industry trends, technology, and best practices in automation testing and quality assurance and prepare and present training as applicable.
Work with teams and leadership to effectively work in a high‐volume, rapid delivery, agile environment, utilizing a “shift left mentality” to implement a lean model.
Experience
A minimum of 7 years of experience in software QA with a solid understanding of QA methodologies and processes.
A minimum of 5 years of experience focusing on automation testing and scripting using JavaScript /Typescript or Java and hands-on experience with tools/frameworks like Selenium, Appium, WebDriver IO, or Playwright.
Should be expert-level in writing automation and SQL test scripts.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in traditional and cloud‐based data warehouse environments.
Must understand web and mobile application architectures, technologies, and testing, including IOS platforms.
Must have experience implementing automation testing into CI/CD Pipelines.
