PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $100,900.00-$123,200.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $78,400.00 - $145,800.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE:

As a Sr Performance Analyst at BECU, you will play a critical role in leveraging analytical tools to extract, transform, and analyze data to create reports, dashboards, and scorecards for the business unit. Your recommendations and visual outputs will directly impact the operations and the products and services produced within the division.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Provide In-Depth Analysis and Solving Problems : Utilize comprehensive knowledge to analyze performance, trends, and conduct root cause and gap analysis in a relatable and conversational manner.

  • Design and Implement Customized Dashboards : Create and maintain customized dashboards and reporting to effectively manage operational performance.

  • Collaborate with Business Areas : Work directly with assigned areas to understand their requirements and translate them into conceptual and logical data models.

  • Data Visualization : Manipulate, calculate, and format existing data into visually usable representations to provide actionable insights.

  • Broad Analytical Support : Provide broad analytical and operational support to the business unit in a candidate-centric language.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting : Perform analytical studies on trends and performance, utilize BECU systems for complex analysis, and support strategic assessments and plans.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related quantitative field, or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data mining, query development, or multi-system data integration

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial institution data analysis and reporting

  • Experience with Tableau or Power BI

  • Experience with scripting languages (SQL, SAS, Python, R, etc.)

  • Extensive knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, and Business Intelligence reporting

  • Strong analytical and time management skills

  • Strong analytical skills, the ability to prioritize and solid time management skills required.

  • Ability to gather pertinent data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions, as well as formulate ideas and recommendations.

  • Proficient verbal and written skills required to effectively communicate

  • Proficient math skills with a high degree of accuracy
