Xello Senior Training Specialist (Work-based Learning focused) in Remote, Florida

Xello is looking for a Sr. Training Specialist - Work-based Learning focused (Florida) __

Collaborating closely with Xello's sales, success, onboarding, and territory teams, the Senior Training Specialist takes charge of training planning and delivery for Florida school districts. In the role of a trusted advisor, you will engage with these districts to uncover their specific training requirements, creating customized professional development programs that align with their goals and the successful implementation of Xello, with an emphasis on supporting impactful work-based learning programs. Your duties encompass the entire training workflow, from coordination and scheduling to implementation, all while incorporating feedback for continuous improvement.

What you’ll do…

  • Utilize your extensive understanding of the work-based learning landscape to develop training opportunities.

  • Share your WBL knowledge and experience with your Xello colleagues across multiple teams to encourage learning.

  • Collaborate regularly with a cross-functional team of success managers, onboarding managers, and support staff to ensure Florida schools successfully adopt Xello’s WBL features.

  • Consult with districts to understand their training needs and develop a training program to support their goals.

  • Conduct on-site training sessions for clients, with up to 65% travel at certain times of the year.

  • Deliver online training sessions, both live and recorded, to our clients by thoroughly understanding their needs and demonstrating how they can make more of an impact on the lives and futures of the students they serve.

  • Develop a variety of training materials and outlines for training sessions that align with branding guidelines.

  • Support evaluation training approaches and monitor key training metrics.

  • Help create best practices and commit to continuously improving our training offerings as part of the customer journey.

  • Stay on top of product and resource updates.

  • Take an active role in regular team meetings.

  • Represent Xello at local conferences and events, including arranging presentations and delivering high-quality, high-impact sessions as required.

  • Handle scheduling and administration of training sessions.

  • Participate in RFP processes, which could include assisting with the professional development recommendations, presentations, and other activities as needed to successfully secure the business.

  • Participate in strategic planning conversations with prospects and clients.

  • Effectively manage a high-touch caseload at various stages of implementation.

  • Use internal systems to document all activity thoroughly and accurately in a timely manner.

    What we’re looking for… 

  • 3+ years experience in the work-based learning sphere, supporting student involvement in WBL opportunities.

  • Experience delivering software training with knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional techniques.

  • Persuasive presentation skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and preferences.

  • Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills, enabling the ability to work effectively with cross-department teams.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve training-related challenges.

  • Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

  • Flexible and responsive to the unique needs of diverse clients.

  • Experience and comfort with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and Google Suite.

  • Experience working with SaaS or the education technology industry (nice to have).

  • Driver’s license required.

  • Ability and willingness to travel across Florida, with occasional travel outside the state
