The Position
The GUSA Inside Sales team drives business with Outside Sales and Technical teams. ISR's find new customers, retain current customers, and develop innovative solutions for bettering our company sales pipeline & closing of new business. Inside Sales representatives play a crucial role in establishing relationships and market Getac's brand in a way that is positive, honest, and professional. The work done on the phone is directly linked to successful outcomes resulting in customer retention and word-of-mouth sales. Inside Sales Representatives combine superior listening and communication skills with an outgoing personality to build instant rapport and further Getac's business initiatives. The ISR has the ability to contribute to GETAC's overall business development and support of our business partners. This position balances:
Operational Sales Support
Lead Generation
Pre / post-sales activities with the focus of growing the sales funnel/pipeline and achieving sales revenue growth.
Essential Job Duties
Work with team members to facilitate calls, manage workflow, and minimize roadblocks throughout the sales process.
Research and understand the Getac product lines and be familiar with each product's function and purpose to confidently create Getac solutions for customers while understanding the competitor's strengths and weaknesses.
Maintain an organized Salesforce data set, eQuote's, and product information so they are readily accessible for reference to answer questions from customers and Getac channel partners.
Facilitate the entire sales process from the initiation of the original call through finalization of SFDC account / opportunity set-up for each customer engagement. Create opportunities when discovered. Helps with closing out shipped opportunities and provides SPA #, PO# from distribution, & tracking number in latest updates.
Listen attentively to customer & partner questions and provide answers that are knowledgeable and insightful to encourage Select SKU device, software, and 3rd party solution sales.
Set Appointments- Outbound calling goal to set onsite appointments for RSM's - larger strategic opportunities per RSM's schedule.
Close Smaller Opportunities- Close smaller deals under 20 units Enterprise or under 5 Public Safety via channel.
Customer Retention- Follow-up with current customer base to track refresh cycles and provide information to RSM's and SA's.
Vetting of MQL's- Vet and qualify inbound marketing qualified leads, close through channel or pass to RSM.
FTIE Initiation- Initiate customization requests to Solutions Architects via Salesforce.
VAR Interaction- Interact and develop relationships with VARS to close net new sales.
Attend Weekly Meetings- Attend weekly meeting with Inside Team to share success methods and help with sales training for Associates and Co-ISR's.
Other Duties
Participate in weekly meetings to discuss benchmarks, as well as team goals for the upcoming week.
Showcase the company's strengths and highlight our brand by talking exclusively about the characteristics that make our organization unique.
Travel to all team business reviews
Travel to Trade Shows and Partner Presentations
Experience & Education
Requires 5 + years of sales account management. Ability to multi-task projects and escalates Pre-sales issues in a timely manner.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Must have prior industry knowledge on rugged computer products and hardware/software vendors by industry verticals.
Proven success communicating and collaborating with both technical and non-technical audiences. Self-driven and well-organized.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience with cold calling, lead generation and qualifying potential clients / Web Research. Excellent verbal and written skills are needed.
Knowledge of sales proposal management (RFQ, NDA, RFI) and coordination with internal departments for document submittal.
Strong pro-active initiative to learn about new product releases and improving personal sales recruitment skills.
Experience with internal sales distribution and forecasting systems and contracts management processes are required.
Prior experience in a position that interfaces with internal company business units, HQ business units and 3rd party business partners is desired.
Computer & Software Skills
Must have foundational computer skills including: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook email and calendaring) and the Internet.
Travel
Occasional local travel
Must have a valid California Driver's License, proof of current vehicle insurance and a driving record that meets the companies insurer's criteria; must be able to use own vehicle in the course of work.
