Our global Clinical Operations colleagues within our PPD® clinical research services provide end-to-end support for clinical trials from study start up to monitoring through to study close out, across commercial and government contracts. Together, we help clients define and develop clinical programs, minimize delays, and execute high-quality, cost-efficient clinical studies.

Discover Impactful Work:

Provides input to departmental strategy and the ongoing innovation of the range of feasibility services. Sources and analyzes data to develop site and patient strategies for proposals and post-award feasibility offerings. Manages assigned feasibility offerings, including pre-award efforts and post-award Trial Optimization and/or Site ID assessments, from the Request for Proposal stage through to the end of the feasibility assessment, delivering accurate and robust data-driven strategies to drive a successful study endpoint. Develops and builds strong relations with all internal and external customers, ensuring clear communication channels are maintained at all times.

A day in the Life:

• Develops and presents site and patient strategies by researching and analyzing data, writing proposal text, participating in bid defenses and serving as functional bidder for assigned RFPs.

• Leads awarded feasibility offerings by confirming or revising the site and patient strategy and scope of work through discussions with the client and cross functional team members, overseeing creation of the optimal site profile, creating site assessment surveys, reviewing data from sites, determining parameters for tiering sites and providing PSV recommendations.

• Translates feasibilty assessment data/results into visual presentations and/or written reports, as required, and delivers to internal/external stakeholders in the determined forum (e.g. client or team meeting).

• Organizes cross functional collaboration for trial optimizations and develops and presents the final report to the client.

• Leads cross functional teams to coordinate Trial Optimization efforts and is accountable for final report deliverable and presentation to the client.

• Participates in intra and inter-departmental meetings, presenting information on strategic feasibility offerings, demonstrating continued value-add of the department, providing training on best practices, processes and tools and contribute to designated feasibility initiatives.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 8+ years’).
