WTW DevOps Engineer in Reigate, United Kingdom

Summary:-

The DevOps engineer will have the ability to design, provision, and manage computer ecosystems, whether on-premise or in the cloud. It’s important for the DevOps engineer to understand Infrastructure as Code (IaC); Understand how to model system infrastructure in the cloud with Azure DevOps & Pulumi.

The Role:

  • Work with the team to define & implement appropriate infrastructure to meet business requirements

  • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for product teams with focus on high cadence and cost effectiveness

  • Automate and manage our Citrix virtual desktop solutions

  • Provider support to our products at all points in lifecycle

  • Develop Infrastructure as code using Pulumi – the requirement includes creating IaC for VM’s, App Services, Front Door, Networking, Firewall, WAF and Azure SQL.

The Requirements:-

  • Experience administering CI systems, creating build configurations and pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps (VSTS/TFS), NuGet, MSBuild

  • Expertise on Pulumi and strong scripting skills (PowerShell)

  • Experience of cloud technologies (primarily Azure ), in areas such as networking, storage, integration, compute and analytics

  • Strong problem-solving skills, including providing simple solutions to complex situations

  • Strong team player with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively

  • Experience of using configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible etc.)
