- Design and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with the companys overall objectives and the specific needs of the new manufacturing plant;
- Collaborate with plant management and department heads to understand staffing needs and create a hiring plan aligned with the plants operational goals;
- Formulate and oversee a strategic recruitment plan to attract top talent for various roles within the new plant, including technical, operational, and administrative positions;
- Build a sustainable talent pipeline through proactive sourcing, partnerships with educational institutions, and industry networking;
- Manage recruitment and selection processes to attract, hire, and retain top talent;
- Create and oversee comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires to ensure smooth integration into the plants operations and culture;
- Develop and implement advanced training and development programs tailored to the manufacturing environment, including leadership development, technical skills training, and career progression plans;
- Manage and enhance the performance appraisal process, ensuring it is aligned with organizational objectives and fosters employee growth;
- Lead and manage organizational change initiatives, including restructuring, team-building, and culture change efforts, to support plant growth and efficiency;
- Address complex employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and grievance handling, ensuring fair and effective resolution;
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve HR processes and practices, integrating best practices and innovative solutions to enhance overall HR function effectiveness;
- Ensure all HR practices comply with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations, and implement necessary changes in response to legislative updates;
- Leverage HR data and analytics to monitor key metrics such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and recruitment effectiveness; and
- Oversee the maintenance of HR records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or other closely related field of study;
- Knowledge of organizational behavior and strategies for improving workplace engagement;
- Ability to analyze HR metrics and data;
- Ability to develop and implement HR strategies; and
- Skill in identifying and addressing HR issues and developing strategic solutions.
