About the Position: Serves as the Army Material Command (AMC) Supervisory Program Analyst of the Acquisition and Support Team. Responsibilities Serves as the primary Category Management analyst and the Data Analytics coordinator for Category Management and other pertinent Acquisition and Support Services. Coordinates the commands Business Council Category Management meetings, coordinates reporting, analysis, assessment, and performance results. Maintain program and administrative reference materials, project files and relevant back-ground documents and make available policies, procedures and procedures. Plans, develops and carry out acquisition and administrative support services Improves the acquisition of services, equipment, resources, infrastructure, etc., by improving cost efficiencies, streamlining efforts across Department of Army components, and ensuring adherence to policy by subordinate organizations. Responsible for planning, organizing and carrying out complete analytical studies Oversees the acquisition review team (ART) and Services Requirements Review Boards (SRRBs) process with regards to review, validation and prioritization of service requirements. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) experience with acquisition and contracts reviewing and analyzing program acquisition plans, managerial reports, financial data and other pertinent data. 2) Assessing contract execution and managing the disposition of the budgeted funds, oversees and directs all contracted efforts. 3) supervise and/or lead a team coordinating and monitoring workload, program analysis and strategic planning 4) oral and written communication. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Acquisition Strategy Administration and Management Budget Administration Conflict Management Leadership Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
