    JOB OVERVIEW

    MartinFed has an opening for an Antiterrorism Analyst to join our team of talented and diverse individuals. This role will directly support the AMC Protection Program and will be based out of Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.

    The Antiterrorism Analyst supports the AMC Protection Program, manages risks related to the safety and security of Soldiers, Civilians, family members, contractors, facilities, infrastructure, and information.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Analyze, review, assess, and make recommendations regarding DoD and Army Protection Program Policy, the command functions, and those of its subordinate elements.

  • Monitor industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging threats in antiterrorism and other protection areas to ensure protection policies are up-to-date, effective, and meet customer expectations.

  • Analyze assessment results, prioritize vulnerabilities, and provide actionable recommendations for remediation, working closely with customers to develop and implement recommendations for remediation.

  • Collaborate with analysts, functional specialists, subject matter experts, and project managers to produce protection-related projects and solutions.

  • Perform multiple customer support functions which may include planning, design, assessment, cost analysis, resource management, and quality management for projects.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance.

  • Bachelor's Degree in technical or relevant field AND 7 years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience can be substituted for education.

  • Roles will include operations product development, operations process implementation, and support to operations execution.

  • Strong communication (verbal and written), technical and administrative skills are mandatory. Candidates must be able to apply technical knowledge and operations concepts to exercise effective decision.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with one or more Protection Program functional areas: Antiterrorism, Law Enforcement, Physical Security, Emergency Management, Operations Security, Continuity of Operations, Critical Infrastructure Risk Management, Fire and Emergency Services, High Risk Personnel, Health Protection, Cyber Security, and Computer Network Defense.

  • Experience with assessing threat response strategies and procedures.

  • Experience with Army regulations regarding Protection Program functional areas.

  • Leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior level team members.

  • Ability to work with minimal guidance.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

  • Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, prolonged sitting while using the computer and the telephone and attending meetings, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness.

  • Some non-standard hours (nights, weekends, and holidays) may be required.

  • Candidate must be able to support travel requirements.

  • Ability to use a computer to input and retrieve information and data.

  • Ability to travel as required by the Company.
