UX Designer Job details Posted 19 June 2024 Location Redmond, WA Job type Contract Reference 925665 Job description Location : 100% Remote opportunity Job Description: Purpose of the Team: This is the Windows developer platform team: goal to help developers create windows platform. Key projects: Team's role requires a designer, developer marketing campaign, branding team related products through social media, as well as some additional projects in the future, and UI UX development. Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 25% meetings, 25% campaign/branding work, and 50% UIUX work. Desired Qualifications: Years of Experience Required: 2-4 years of overall experience. Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on feedback from the team and meeting deadlines. 2 plus years work related experience required. Experience in native platform software design. Strong knowledge of user interface and functionality design required. Strong creative skills and ability to generate design ideas required. Advanced experience in creating and implementing usability studies, personas, user flows, wireframes, style guides, navigational structures, and affinity diagrams is required. Advanced knowledge of web technologies (i.e., HTML and CSS). Fluency with standard design software tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) required. Advanced interaction design and web technology skills (i.e., Flash) may be required. Strong knowledge or experience with database served websites. Experience working with rich client or web applications preferred. Must have the ability to understand and integrate customer needs and motivations into specific areas of product design to contribute to user features and functionality. Must be familiar with industry standards and trends. Strong communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team required. Must have ability to own and drive projects. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. Must Have : Years of Experience Required: 2-4 years of overall experience. Minimum 1 year of experience with UI UX developer. Minimum 1 year of experience working with a functional development team. Minimum 1 year of experience using design software tools.
