Centific Technologies, Inc. has openings for Software Development Engineer in Test in Redmond, WA, responsible for testing software, documenting and reporting defects to developers, maintaining database of defects and their resolution. Specifically, the job duties include:
- Define, develop, implement, schedule and execute test plans and test cases for manual and automated testing of complex software implementations in a distributed client-server environment.
- Design and execute manual test cases for specific software features, write test plans, test reports and designs and set up test beds.
- Develop tools to automate the software testing process and reduce overall delivery schedules.
- Coordinate and participate in testing process, which includes gathering requirements, creating test plans, executing tests, managing issues and reporting results using testing methodologies.
- Troubleshoot all areas of software testing, such as white box, black box, integration and system testing.
- Work closely with other engineering team members to test software, ensuring quality specifications are met.
Provide reports on product compliance to test plans and reports on open defects.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's (or foreign degree equiv.) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related plus 2 years' experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test, Software Engineer, Software Test Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Technical Operation Engineer or related.
