A Senior Executive Market Aligned Recruiter (Principal Researcher) - Sales & Marketing in GETA enables and drives our approach to hire critical leadership roles and deepens our knowledge of the competitive landscape for the best talent in the market via both market research and engagement. This role will primarily focus on proactively identifying, targeting, and engaging executive talent for our strategic programs such as Talent Scouting and Succession Management. This will allow us to deepen our talent and market insights for the prioritized succession risks and knowledge of the competitive landscape for the best talent in the market. This individual is well-connected into the external ecosystem and comfortable driving and owning the external proactive sourcing strategy for executive level talent within Microsoft. This opportunity will allow you to be innovative in your approach to map and connect with the external marketplace and develop proactive sourcing and engagement strategies to target and assess top executive talent for today and tomorrow.

Responsibilities

  • You will lead the implementation of a short- and long-term proactive sourcing, deep executive level talent research, and engagement plan for complex organizations, areas, or talent pools.  

  • You will closely partner with executives, Human Resources, and your colleagues to determine the current and future executive Talent Acquisition including talent priorities for Succession Management and Talent Scouting Programs.

  • You will leverage deep understanding of talent market and candidate profiles to identify candidates for talent pools and role-based succession.

  • You are responsible for providing quality external talent maps, building and maintaining compete strategies, and providing education on market realities for your aligned space

  • You will create a thorough view of talent that enables swift action during executive leadership transitions and helps reduce risk of disruption to the business after departures or talent movement. 

  • You will maintain documentation on candidates’ qualifications and status in the appropriate applicant tracking system, within compliance guidelines

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years experience in directly sourcing, mapping, or recruiting research of executive level talent in Sales & Marketing organizations for a global organization. 

  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role

  • OR Master's Degree AND 8+ years talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft productivity tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, and/or recruiting CRM systems. 

  • Robust knowledge of competitive landscape in the US. Global market knowledge is a plus

  • Aptitude for process/systems management, interpersonal, organizational, written, negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Effective communication skills and relationship management capabilities.

  • Expertise in the following areas: Strategic Insight, Influencing for Impact, Judgment, Cross Boundary Collaboration, Negotiation, and Systems Thinking

  • Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and candidate tracking systems isrequired.

Talent Acquisition IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
