We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director, Enablement & Operations who is excited about contributing to Microsoft’s business and social impact around the world. This role will help ensure MSP operates with the highest level of efficiency and effectiveness, and in alignment with both departmental/Corporate External Legal Affairs (CELA) and broader company priorities. This role will lead business planning, rhythm of business (ROB) and operations.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Business Planning and Strategy Development: Partner across the organization to help shape strategy and translate strategic direction into clear and aligned priorities, resource allocation plans, measurement, and organizational change management plans ensuring that operational controls, administrative, and reporting procedures are in place and functioning properly. Identify operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies and implement necessary changes. Ensure effective oversight of all financial operations in close partnership with CELA Finance. Provide counsel and support to the CVP on financial matters and fiscal strategy.

  • MSP Leadership Team Orchestration & Rhythm of Business: Lead the development and execution of critical Leadership Team moments including weekly leadership meetings, business reviews, all hands meetings and team offsites. Enable execution excellence by driving clarity and alignment of all Leadership Team members, with a focus on efficiency and helping the team scale the work they do.

  • Technology & Operations Leadership: Lead and manage the operations team to ensure we have the operational resources needed to support MSP priorities. Foster an innovative mindset and focus on how we can leverage AI capabilities in MSP workflows to increase productivity, quality of work and the ability to leverage data in more ways to make more informed decisions. Provide team leadership and coaching to help define, rationalize, and prioritize technology requirements needed to scale the Microsoft Philanthropies business and engage with MDEE to ensure new capabilities are delivered on-time and within budget.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 8+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles

  • OR equivalent experience.

Business Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $273,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $299,400 per year.
