We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our team.

Responsibilities

This role supports marketing audience design through the creation of targetable commercial audiences using deep data and modeling knowledge. They will build predictive commercial audience models using various data and collaborate with those in data engineering teams on data requirements and storage.

  • Apply technicalcommercial marketing/ mediadata knowledge to inform audience modeling design

  • Lead team knowledge on commercial data assets and use cases for marketing

  • Collaborate with other data scientists on business goals and outcomes for audiences

  • Write durable code for predicting audiences based on testing goals and addressable market sizes using SQL, Python, Azure Databricks and similar tools

  • Use statistical knowledge to assess quality of models and audience predictions

  • Create requirements and drive consistency for various media basedmodels and analytic approaches

  • Track and analyze KPIs relating to audiences

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)

  • OR Master's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)

  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics,Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Experience working within marketing analytics/data sciences, advertising agency, or similar.

  • Experience with Python or SQL.

  • Experience building predictive models.

  • Experience scaling models leveraging tools such asDatabricks and languages like PySpark.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • OR Master's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)

  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics,

  • Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 7+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results))

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years experience working within marketing analytics/ data sciences, advertising agency, or similar including knowledge of the latest audience testing technologies.

Data Science IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
