Description:
Job Summary: The Project Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting our project teams with various administrative and operational tasks. This role involves working closely with project managers and other team members to ensure the smooth execution of our commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation and management of contracts, schedules, change orders, and insurance tracking for construction projects.
• Provide efficient administrative support including document control, data entry, and file management.
• Multitask effectively amidst frequent interruptions, maintaining focus and organization.
• Contribute to a positive and professional work environment, promoting team spirit and collaboration.
• Handle reception duties as needed, including managing the reception desk and answering phones.
• Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) for various project-related tasks.
• Ensure detailed attention is paid to all aspects of project assistance, from initial planning to completion.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, fostering a positive attitude and approach to problem-solving.
• Manage deadlines and tasks efficiently, adapting to changing priorities and project needs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Prior experience working for a General Contractor or Subcontractor in Commercial Construction.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well under various tasks and deadlines.
• Strong multitasking skills, with the capacity to handle several deadlines concurrently.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• A self-directed and detail-oriented approach to work.
