The Azure E+P visual design team is looking for a Principal Video Producer with a proven track record of producing first-class creative work, providing exceptional client service, facilitating the work of a small production team, and seeing through multi-layered projects from beginning to end. This role offers the unique opportunity to be part of a small team and help shape the team’s direction and ethos from inception. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for creating compelling animations that narrate the story of our software products and platforms. Your work will bring to life the vision of leaders in Azure E+P, transforming their ideas into engaging videos, animations, product demos and graphics. These visual narratives will be showcased in customer meetings, conferences, presentations to senior leadership, and on various Microsoft channels for broad public consumption. Responsibilities
Create, produce, and direct professional-quality video and media projects that educate, inspire, and accurately depict and promote the Microsoft brand.
Manage video and content projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, publishing, shoots and shot lists, interviews, downloading footage, managing asset creation and acquisition while delivering to a wide variety of content destinations - in product, on the web, on the big screen, etc.
Event production (e.g. Town Halls or All Hands meetings) including managing vendors and providing oversight and quality control of video shoots
Create animated infographics that can communicate logistics or data in an easy to digest manner.
Collaborate with product teams to understand the latest features, customer scenarios, target events and audience for the content.
Collaborate with other designers in the team to animate individual shots, compile entire edit for a video, work with music and/or voiceover and merge the edit with audio.
Quickly respond to and implement feedback from stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
6+ years experience in professional production environment (e.g., lighting, shooting, audio recording, web production, writing), post-production environment, or broadcasting.
OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years of experience creating, producing, and professional-quality video and media projects, ideally for a leading technology brand or agency
5+ years of experience managing video and content projects from start to finish
Experience managing content production teams and studios.
Proficiency in video editing and post-production tools like Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.
Familiarity with Figma for collaborative design workflows and skills in creating and refining visual assets using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Attention to details, schedules, editorial flow, and all phases of video production
Knowledge of iconography, visual storytelling, and design explorations is beneficial.
Experience in motion design.

Video Production IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
