Financial Analyst (6-Month Contract)
In this role, you will analyze financial, economic, and business data to support strategic decision-making within one of the world's largest medical technology companies. What You'll be Doing...
- Prepare accounting journal entries and support the month-end close process, ensuring GAAP compliance.
- Collect, compile, and verify financial and economic data for senior management to guide decisions on acquisitions, investments, and other key transactions.
- Evaluate the financial impact of proposed investments and strategic initiatives, advising senior leaders on available options.
- Forecast financial performance by analyzing industry trends, market conditions, labor costs, and other economic indicators.

Here's what your work history needs to show as evidence that you're the right candidate...
- 2-4 years of relevant experience, ideally with knowledge of organizational financial policies and GAAP standards.
- Ability to work in a matrixed environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, including the use of nested and conditional formulas, IF statements, Lookups, Pivot Tables, and basic financial modeling.
- Familiarity with cost accounting is a plus.
