As a Windows Director Product Marketing, Cloud & AI Devices , you will partner closely with engineering teams to design new product offerings , partnering with product marketing colleagues to understand audience, product-market fit, and product interactions . You will lead key strategies and investments in inbound marketing as well as planning for future announcements and product launches in partnership with outbound marketing partners and other customer- and public-facing groups such as brand and storytelling, customer readiness and technical support, integrated marketing and communications teams. This role is critical to connecting Windows Cloud experiences across Modern Work, Windows, and Azure product teams , as well as helping our customers learn about and adopt Windows 365. This is a high-growth, high-visibility role with significant opportunity for growth and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Identify competitive opportunities in the end-user computing and virtualization space for Windows Cloud solutions and determine critical features, capabilities, endpoints and experiences to grow the addressable market.

  • Create and deliver go-to-market plans for these Windows Cloud innovations, ensuring alignment with internal product roadmaps, solution plays, and partners that will coinvest in and execute against these plans.

  • Develop deep relationships with the device partner ecosystem and effectively engage with product management, other marketing teams, business development and partner ecosystem teams to identify and pursue innovative new partnership opportunities in this space.

  • Define experimentation opportunities, success metrics, measurement methodology, objectives & key results (OKRs), and investment roadmap for owned workstreams, driving ongoing improvements.

  • Bring together cross-functional teams across engineering, business development, business planning, product marketing and integrated marketing and more to identify net-new opportunities to drive both revenue and usage growth, delivering business impact.

  • Collaborate with other product marketing teams to incorporate Windows Cloud value into their marketing plans and drive customer engagement through events, marketing programs, and other channels for product-value feedback loops.

  • Collaborate with engineering and product managers to create product demos, videos, and scenarios in aid of sales and support cycle.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business

  • OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 4+ years experience in business

  • OR equivalent experience

  • 6 years' product marketing, technical marketing, product management, or program management experience in commercial software or services targeted at the enterprise segment

  • Experience with end user computing and devices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 12+ years experience in business

  • OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years marketing or sales experience

  • OR equivalent experience

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders

Product Marketing IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $124,800 - $242,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $159,000 - $264,000 per year.
