The Director of Supply Innovation and Operations - Quantum role requires someone who is centered around operational excellence with a bias for action; thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; and easily partners successfully with a wide group of stakeholders (senior leadership, engineering teams, external partners).

Responsibilities
You will support the Quantum team to develop and drive both our supplier strategies and overall business operations.
Partner with hardware and software engineering leadership to develop and program manage relationships with key suppliers.
Lead a small team to drive the business procurement in support of our global development laboratories.
Partner with leadership to drive strategic planning for emerging lines of business, including supply-base analysis and modeling.
Support strategic global initiatives, ranging from technology acquisitions to infrastructure and real estate design.
Establish and maintain streamlined processes across all business operations functions.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Experience with quantum computing and exposure to computational chemistry and materials science.
4+ years people management experience.
3+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
OR equivalent experience.
4+ years people management experience.
8+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
Technical Program Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
