Business Intelligence Analyst BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated BI Analyst Remote opportunity! Position Title: BI Analyst Location: Remote Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. Expected Duration: 9 Months (Potential chances for extension) Job Type: [FULL TIME] (>=40 HRS WEEKLY)], [CONTRACT], [Remote] Pay Range: $55/hr. - $58/hr. Job Description: Title: Business Intelligence Analyst Location: Remote (Must support PST hours) Duration: 9 Months (Potential chances for extension) Summary: The Business Analytics team requires a business intelligence analyst to support requirements development, data analysis, and project management deliverables to deliver reporting to support new business motions. The analyst will perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support to deliver and support several reporting deliverables. Analysis may also be required to support leadership meetings and business reviews. Job Responsibilities: * Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies * Gathers requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers * Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation * Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities * Supports one or more highly complex business processes * Works on multiple projects as a project team member * Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred * 5-7 years' experience required * Functional mastery of PowerBI, DAX, and programming languages in order to develop detailed reporting requirements, perform UAT and troubleshoot solutions. * Ability to create business solutions that increase competitive advantage * Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines * Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions * Ability to solve technical problems/ processes and understand complex details * Ability to increase operating efficiency with produce high quality technical solutions * A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level * Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions Candidate Requirements: * Years of Experience Required: 5-7 overall years of experience in the field. * Degrees or certifications required: No degree is required to be eligible for this role, however certifications in Microsoft applications like Power BI/Fabric and PMP certifications are a plus. * Disqualifiers: Candidates with exclusive experience in development will not be eligible for the role.
