Microsoft Corporation Business Administrator in Redmond, Washington
We are looking for a high-performing, action oriented and organized executive assistant. The primary function of the role is to support the General Manager (GM) of the Startup + Partner Experience team. We need an assistant who can manage a complex calendar and maintain highest level of integrity and business professionalism and deal with highly sensitive data with absolute confidentiality. Ability to work/support manager when remote (travelling) is also required.
Primary responsibilities include (not inclusive of all possible responsibilities):
Calendar Management for GM including internal and external speaking engagements
Arrange domestic and international travel
Ensuring awareness and compliance with administrative operations policies and procedures
Partner with support staff across the organization to ensure consistent experiences
Plan and lead catering, venue selection, and logistics for internal events, off sites, All Hands meetings, and celebration events
Maintain relevant security groups and distribution lists
Order office supplies and equipment for team and new hires
Expense reporting – interim approve
Other projects as requested by executive
Some travel (10%) may be required.
Minimum of 4+ years of relevant, administrative, work experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft productivity software, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Skype meetings and SharePoint is preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft tools, such as HeadTrax, ICIMS, MSS, MSExpense2 and MyOrder.
Excellent organizational, customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills required
Familiarity with Microsoft business processes and experience working in Microsoft required.
Demonstrated skill of shifting approach in response to the demands of a changing situation
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and problem-solving skills and following through on issues in a timely manner
BS/BA degree preferred (not required).
