Job Title: Assembly Tech
Job Description
As an Assembly Tech, you will play a crucial role in championing safety requirements and assembling and testing avionic electrical-mechanical assemblies with a focus on detail. This role involves handling and installing fiber-optics and related hardware, maintaining and calibrating lab equipment, and supporting preventative maintenance activities. You will participate in process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory, and execute test procedures for component and system-level testing. Additionally, you will receive shipments and coordinate deliveries.
Responsibilities
Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations.
Assemble and test an assortment of avionic electrical-mechanical assemblies with a focus on detail.
Handle and install fiber-optics and related hardware.
Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated.
Support some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems.
Participate in process improvements and maintain floor stock inventory.
Independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables.
Execute test procedures for component and system-level testing and maintenance.
Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc.
Contribute to improving work instructions and safety procedures.
Essential Skills
Willingness to work all shifts, including days, evenings, staggered shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
Flexibility to work and commute between site locations.
Ability to stand for long periods, climb up and down ladders, bend, grasp, sit, pull, push, stoop, and stretch to perform job functions.
Capability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted.

Work Environment
This role operates within a manufacturing environment, requiring standing for long periods and performing physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and lifting. The estimated shift time is 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM from Monday to Thursday.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00
