BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Admin Assistant opportunity in Redmond, WA. Position Title: Admin Assistant Location: Redmond, WA Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. Expected Duration: 2 Months Job Type: Full time Contract Pay Range: $26 to $28 Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Requirements: Job Description: Title: Admin Assistant Location: Redmond, WA Duration: 2 Months (Potential Chances for extension) Candidate Requirements * Years of Experience Required: 4 years of experience * Degrees or certifications required: BA/BS degree is desirable, but not required * Disqualifiers: Candidates without relevant work experience as administrative assistants and less than 12 months remaining on access clock will not be eligible for the role. * Best vs. Average: The ideal candidate would have experience with onboarding tasks, planning team events, managing budgets, strong communication and organizational skills. * Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on quality of work and feedback from the team. Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience * Minimum 3 years proficiency with Microsoft software, including Microsoft Office and Outlook * Minimum 3 years of experience with Calendaring A typical day might look like... * Proactively managing calendars, making decisions on behalf of the calendar's owner to prioritize calendar requests based on shifting business priorities to ensure accurate scheduling and appropriate allocation of time * Partnering with a team of business administrators to support an engineering organization around T&E budgets, employee onboarding, and team events * Maintaining information with confidentiality * Manage domestic and international travel plans and agendas * Onboarding vendor staff * Onboarding new hires, manage office space * Preparing and processing expense reports * Ensuring a timely flow of information and process approvals as appropriate * Effectively communicating and building relationships with the business support community and business leadership * Influencing and embracing cross-functional/cultural teams * Should be able to solve complex problems when they occur * Being able to think fast, pivot as needed.
