Accountant 1 BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Accountant 1 for an opportunity in Redmond, WA- Remote! Position Title: Accountant 1 Location: Redmond, WA- Remote Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: 05+ Months (Highly Possibility for extension) Job Type: [CONTRACT-25 hours per week], [Remote] Pay Range:[$20] - [$23] Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Requirement: 1. Minimum 0-2 years experience with excel. 2. Minimum 0-2 years experience with communication. 3. Minimum 0-2 years experience with organization. Description: * The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full procurement process for all client outsourcing. Responsibilities include opening purchase orders (PO), reviewing statements of work (SOW), and onboarding new suppliers. Attention to detail and responsiveness is critical, as this person will be responsible for ensuring Purchase Orders are opened in a timely manner, tracking the lifecycle of each PO, and conducting research on any issues that arise. * Other included responsibilities - helping suppliers with invoicing issues in a timely manner, working cross functionally to resolve on boarding questions and validate monthly/quarterly expenses and journal entries. Additionally, engagement in other AdHoc projects for opportunity to grow and drive consistent and reliable reporting. * Take action and the ability to prioritize, multitask and analytical skills is required. Strong collaborative team player and ability to work independently (virtually). * Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft products required. Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred. Qualifications: * Adaptability - Comfort with ambiguity and uncertainty, in a business that is constantly evolving. * Collaboration - Inclusive team player with excellent cross group collaboration skills. * Customer Focus - Considers suppliers' needs and reactions when evaluating the efforts of onboarding suppliers. * Communication - Communicates with individuals and teams across the company in a professional manner. * Technical Skills - Excellent Excel, Project Management and Office Skills. Candidate Requirements: * Years of Experience Required: 0-2 overall years of experience in the field. * Degrees or certifications required: accounting/business degree would be preferred not required.
