Job Title: Welder & Fabricator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder & Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding metal parts and components, including both structural and custom parts. This role involves working with smaller parts and larger custom structures.

Responsibilities

  • Weld metal parts and components, including structural and custom parts.

  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.

  • Perform MIG welding on various materials.

  • Work efficiently in a production environment.

  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.

  • Be available to work on Saturdays as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in welding techniques.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

  • Experience with MIG welding.

  • Fabrication skills.

  • 6 months to 1 year of production welding experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Good communication skills.

Work Environment

The work environment is a welding shop with about 20-25 other employees. The company ensures safety with well-guarded welding areas and provides plenty of personal protective equipment. Employees may be required to work on Saturdays as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Red Wing, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00
