Compensation Range:$120,300 To $150,200 Plus bonus Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.
Job Purpose
The Senior Transformation Project Manager will contribute to projects in EnerSys's Energy Systems line of business. The ideal candidate brings value through their immediate project ownership, exemplary team leadership, and stakeholder relations skills. This position reports to the Director of Business Transformation. The Sr. Transformation PM is responsible for the simultaneous management of multiple complex projects throughout the transformation life cycle by tracking progress and reporting results to core team members and other stakeholders. Primary objectives are to manage scope, timing, financial outcomes and risk of projects from start to finish. The Sr. Transformation PM acts as the primary point of communication within a project and possesses the instinct for proactive risk management. The Sr. Transformation PM is not only a manager but is also an exemplary leader who creates a positive and cooperative work environment for their team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Major Responsibilities: * Lead Project Managers within the Transformation PMO team. * Lead cross-functional Project Teams, within a matrix environment, successfully driving projects to completion. * Perform senior project management functions including analyses, project plans, business cases, risk analysis/mitigation plans, developing and implementing metrics to measure and adjust. * Collaborate with Project Owners and Sponsors to define project scope, milestones, timing, and resource allocation. * Collaborate with resource managers to implement, monitor, and maintain the resource capacity planning across the organization. * Coordinate and lead core team meetings, milestone reviews and stakeholder engagement and expectations. * Monitor and control all project deliverables while continually identifying and addressing project issues or risks. * Possess the interpersonal skills to develop key stakeholder relationships including those with senior management and leadership. * Utilizes negotiation tactics to resolve conflicts to ensure success is achieved with minimal risk to project objectives. * Serve as the primary point of communication between project team and stakeholders to cohesively align with other departments. * Establish practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships that facilitate project success. * Lead, coach, educate and develop the project management team on PMO best practices.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: * 5+ years' experience in Organizational Development, Organizational Change Management, Performance Consulting, Organizational Design, Re-engineering & Process Improvement, Strateg Development/Implementation, and/or Business Culture expertise. * 2+ years of leadership/supervisory experience. * 5+ years' experience in ERP or packaged software implementation * Demonstrated capability leading multiple large, high complexity and/or strategic projects and teams. * Expert in Microsoft Office; (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) * Extensive experience handling project scope, budget, or team changes within a high priority project * Possesses the instinct to take calculated risks and drive results. * Expert interpersonal skills to develop relationships amongst team members. * Expert written and verbal communication skills. * Expert in tailoring presentations to executive management and cross-functional audiences * Strong experience with Scope Management within complex and/or strategic projects * Demonstrate strong leadership to elevate project team and stakeholders experience within complex and/or strategic projects * Elevate project risk management best practices and lessons learned principles throughout the organization. * Challenge functional leaders within the project, holding them accountable for their deliverables. * Coaching aptitude to share project management best practices with junior Project Managers Willing to travel 1 week per month Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development or related field. * 5+ years' experience leading large-scale OD and/or change management projects. * Experience collaborating with team members, all levels of leadership, different departments and vendors to develop solutions, facilitate ongoing collaboration across varied groups, and cultivate stakeholder engagement/buy-in. * Experience coordinating or implementing business readiness activities including stakeholder analysis, change interventions, training, and communications to ensure business and operational readiness for change. * Experience achieving desired outcomes and actions through negotiation and influence. * Project Management Certification
