Robert Half Help Desk Analyst I in Reading, Pennsylvania

Description We are in the process of expanding our team and are looking for an experienced Help Desk Analyst I. The role will be based in Reading, Pennsylvania, and will involve providing technical assistance to computer system users. This includes answering user inquiries, resolving computer problems, and maintaining records of data communication transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems of varying complexity

• Execute software installation or hardware testing remotely when required

• Enter commands and monitor system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors

• Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems, remedial actions taken, or installation activities

• Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support

• Deliver technical support focusing on Active Directory, Google Suite, PC Hardware, Password Reset, and other related aspects

• Be proactive in answering phone calls and working through a ticket queue

• Play an integral role in system integration projects, providing dedicated support as needed.

This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. Requirements • Proficient in Active Directory

• Proficient in Google Suite

• Familiarity with PC Hardware

• Experience in Password Reset

• Ability to provide Technical Support

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly

• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
