Robert Half Help Desk Analyst I in Reading, Pennsylvania

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst I in Reading, Pennsylvania. This role is a critical component of our team, primarily focusing on providing technical assistance to computer system users. You will be responsible for answering user inquiries, resolving computer problems, and maintaining records of daily data communication transactions. This role is a part of a new team dedicated to system integration, which involves a blend of Level 1 and Level 2 support tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems

• Install software or perform hardware testing remotely when required

• Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors

• Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities

• Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or provide technical assistance and support

• Work through a ticket queue, ensuring all customer issues are addressed in a timely and efficient manner

• Provide dedicated support for system integration between different platforms

• Offer assistance and support to customers in person, via telephone or from a remote location

• Leverage skills in Active Directory, Google Suite, PC Hardware, Password Reset, and Technical Support to solve user issues. Requirements • Proficiency in Active Directory is a necessity for this role.

• Familiarity with Google Suite is required.

• Experience with PC Hardware is a must.

• Ability to handle Password Reset requests is necessary.

• Previous experience in Technical Support is required.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are expected.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong organization and time management skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting.

• High level of customer service orientation is needed.
