Robert Half Help Desk Analyst I in Reading, Pennsylvania

Description We are in search of a Help Desk Analyst I to join our team in Reading, Pennsylvania. This role primarily focuses on providing technical assistance to computer system users, answering inquiries, resolving computer-related issues, and maintaining a record of daily data communication transactions. The successful candidate will be heavily involved in system integration tasks and will work through a ticket queue, providing dedicated support to our system integration team.

Responsibilities:

• Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems

• Install software or perform hardware testing remotely when necessary

• Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors

• Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities

• Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support

• Provide technical support and password reset for Active Directory and Google Suite

• Handle PC Hardware related issues and provide technical support

• Engage in service desk work, including answering phone calls and responding to user inquiries

• Work through a ticket queue, providing dedicated support to system integration between different systems

• Act as a key player in a team that is a combination of Level 1 and Level 2 support for system integration. Requirements • Proficiency in Active Directory is mandatory

• Familiarity with Google Suite is required

• Knowledge of PC Hardware is necessary

• Experience with Password Reset procedures is crucial

• Proficiency in providing Technical Support is essential

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle pressure calmly

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently

• Experience in a customer service role is preferred
